(Riverton, Utah) In a world where the significance of direct and indirect marketing channels cannot be overstated, the role of channel marketers often goes unnoticed. These professionals are the unsung heroes who fuel the engine of the channel, crafting strategies that drive success across diverse and dynamic marketplaces. It's with great excitement that we introduce the inaugural Channel Marketing Excellence List, aimed at spotlighting the remarkable talents behind the scenes of successful channel marketing.
This year, we received more than 1,000 nominations from across the globe. The selection process was challenging, underscoring the high caliber of innovation and dedication within the channel marketing community. The final list includes more than 300 marketers from various companies across the IT and Telecom Channel ecosystem.
“We had to make some tough decisions; the talented list was just incredible,” says Kathryn Rose, co-founder of the Channel Marketing Association. “We are so thrilled to be able to highlight some of the brightest minds in channel marketing.”
The honorees have also been further categorized into three distinguished groups: Icons, Visionaries, and Rising Stars. Each category celebrates a unique aspect of excellence in channel marketing, from seasoned leaders who have shaped the industry to forward-thinkers setting the trends of tomorrow and bright channel newcomers making a significant impact.
“Channel marketers represent the backbone of channel organizations, and we wanted to highlight those who have impacted our industry,” said Amy Bailey, co-founder of the Channel Marketing Association.
These achievements will be celebrated at the Channel Marketing Association Summit, held at the Gaylord Texan from April 24-26th. This event will serve as a platform to honor these exceptional marketers and feature a comprehensive agenda to advance channel marketing practice.
The Summit begins with a pre-day, hands-on workshop focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for channel marketers. This workshop is designed to equip marketers with the knowledge and tools needed to leverage AI, enhancing their strategies and ensuring their success in an increasingly competitive landscape.
Jay McBain, Chief Analyst from Canalys, kicks off the summit with his thoughts on the future of Channel Marketing and the importance of the role. This is followed by a day and a half of sessions on hiring best practices, marketing in the no-cookie age, tool organization, a panel focused on the partner’s perspective, career development sessions, and more.
